Calmer, Easier, Happier Special Needs Six-week Parenting Courses

Boost your parenting confidence - learn how to use my ‘Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting’ strategies with your child or teen who has ADHD or related conditions.

You already know that parenting can be one of the most rewarding roles you’ll ever take on, and it can also be one of the toughest. When you have a child or teen with ADHD or a related neuro-developmental condition then your parenting role can feel even more challenging. But I also know, after decades of successfully helping thousands of families across the world, that having a set of reliable and effective strategies will help you experience more of the parenting rewards you deserve.

So I’m thrilled that the marvellous team at ADHD Embrace UK have asked me back to share my practical and effective strategies with you.

Course One
For parents of children ages 4 to 11 years:
Six Wednesdays from 8pm to 9:30pm
11, 18, 25 May (break for half-term)
8, 15, 22 June

Course Two
For parents of preteens and teens ages 11 to 16 years
Six Thursdays from 8pm to 9:30pm
12, 19, 26 May (break for half-term)
9, 16, 23 June

With each course you'll get:

At the end of the six weeks:

  • you’ll understand why the ‘Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting’ strategies are so effective for improving your ADHD child's or teen's behaviour, social skills, and attitude towards learning
  • you’ll feel confident about how to use my 'Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting' strategies to fit your family's unique situation

Each course will address the following problems:

  • Children with an extreme temperament: very sensitive, intense, impulsive, inflexible
  • Weak executive function
  • Rudeness, verbal and/or physical aggression
  • Preoccupation with screens
  • Below-average receptive and/or expressive language
  • Sibling rivalry and jealousy
  • Routines and family flashpoints: mornings, mealtimes, homework, sibling relationships, homework, bedtimes

The strategies that I’ll be sharing will help you to resolve these issues and more, and they’ll significantly boost your parenting confidence and know-how to help you create a calmer, easier, happier home life for your whole family.
